Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Strategy (Contract to Hire)
Duration: 6 month - Contract to Hire
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Position Description:
Senior Project Manager - Strategy (Contract to Hire), reporting to VP of Strategy & Execution
The Senior Project Manager - Strategy will manage projects that define, prioritize and implement the EIS strategy supporting the initiatives that position EIS for continued growth as a global leader in their verticals. This is an opportunity to be part of the EIS family and work with talented, hardworking and fun colleagues while contributing to process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of internal projects as defined by the VP of Strategy & Execution. May be in a support position or lead position depending on the scope of the initiative.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, department leads to gather information on status, issues, and risks.
- Communicate effectively to stakeholders utilizing the appropriate method weekly status meetings, weekly status reports.
- Drive tasks, monitor and report business lead progress to ensure projects meet their objectives.
- Collaborate with Marketing Manager to manage communication points for broader reach townhall calls, quarterly business reviews, quarterly newsletter.
- Assume administration ownership of OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) methodology via Viva Goals in MS Teams. Lead OKR superusers in global positions to ensure adoption and engagement.
- Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources; chair the project management team meetings
- Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
- Manage project scope and changes
- Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables
- Provide status reports from the project and program team, analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas
- Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication
- Extensive understanding of project and program management principles, methods and techniques
- Other duties as assigned
- Proven success in providing leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
- Establish practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization
Role Requirements:
- Sr XFN Project Management experience
- Prefer near Milwaukee candidates (Milwaukee office) with willingness to travel to Fond du lac, WI plant when required
- Flexibility to travel internationally travel (Mexico, Hong Kong, China, Europe)
- PMP certification
- Epicor experience preferred
- Experience with business processes including Finance, Purchasing, Manufacturing,
- Extensive MS Teams experience, including setting up and using Viva Goals
- Experience with OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) or similar strategic methodology.
- Senior skills with Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and PowerPoint
- Experience leading projects with cross-functional teams who are not 100% dedicated to a project
- Experience designing, leading and implementing new processes successfully
