The Security Service Specialist III is responsible for servicing our existing customer base troubleshooting and repairing access control, CCTV, intrusion, intercom, and fire alarm systems. The candidate will have strong networking knowledge of LAN, WAN, and mesh networking connected to a local or remote server, or cloud based system. The Service Specialist III will have strong verbal and written skills to keep the customer and the office informed of the status of the repair, and a strong work ethic to work independently or as a team reporting to the Service Field Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work the systems they are comfortable with, but also systems they have limited to no experience on and use those same troubleshooting methods and critical thinking skills to take care of the customer.

The physical demands of the position include:
This position requires working outdoors, in mechanical/equipment rooms and possible extreme weather conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, heavy equipment, electrical equipment and wiring. The associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock (high voltage); and vibration. The associate is occasionally exposed to extreme cold, and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.
