Position Overview:As the Retail Pricing Coordinator you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the pricing strategy for products in the retail grocery environment. You will be collaborating with various teams to ensure accurate pricing and promotions while maximizing profitability and customer satisfaction. RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze market trends, competition and cost factors to determine optimal pricing strategyMonitor and adjust prices based on market dynamics, customer behavior and business goalsConduct regular pricing analysis to ensure competitiveness and profitabilityCollaborate with marketing and sales teams to plan and execute promotional pricing strategiesMonitor the success of promotions and provide recommended adjustments to optimize results while meeting sales targetsEnsure accurate and consistent pricing across all products and locationsMaintain and update pricing databases, systems, and POS systems with current and accurate pricing informationPartnering with procurement to understand product costs and factors affecting pricing decisionsPartnering with inventory management to ensure appropriate pricing for clearance, seasonal and overstocked itemsGather and analyze customer feedback related to pricing, promotions and perceived value; utilizing insights to make recommended pricing decisions and improvements to current pricing strategyMaintain accurate and organized records of pricing decisions, strategies and changesGenerate regular reports on pricing performance, including sales trends, margins and pricing effectivenessAdhere to all company safety standardsPerform other duties as assigned by leadershipSchedule:Weekday and Weekend hours as needed Experience:Preferred: One (1) year retail experience or relevant experience Skills:Physical abilities: May be required to lift up to 80-85lbs.; standing, bending, lifting and twisting for up to 90% of your shift; frequently lifting product from various heights including floor level to over your head; Ability to stand or walk at least 10 hours daily; working in various temperature controlled environments; walking on a variety of flooring such as concrete, tile, carpet etcStrong communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and leaders on a daily basisOrganizational Skills: Ability to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner; ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesWorking in a team based environment: Working independently and as a team player to ensure our customers are receiving orders timely and with the highest quality Quality: Maintain integrity and high standards of product handling from all perspectivesSafety Culture: Maintain and drive safety policies; driving for accountability of safe practices throughout shift
