PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Directs/manages overall daily operations of the designated site with the primary concern for programs and service delivery, supervision and training of staff, facilities management, community relations and membership administration.
KEY ROLES:
Leadership:
Help establish site programs, activities and services that prepare youth for success and that create a club environment that facilitates achievement of Youth Development Outcomes.
Help ensure a healthy and safe environment regarding facilities, equipment and supplies.
Act professionally at all times with all staff, members and parents
Strategic Planning:
Help plan, develop, implement and evaluate site programs, services and activities to ensure they meet stated objectives and member needs and interests. Compile regular reports reflecting all activities, attendance and participation.
Program oversight:
Oversee grant-required program activities in accordance with established standards and goals.
Evaluate programs on a continual basis and ensure programs/activities are in keeping with gender and cultural diversity.
Supervision:
Oversee proper record keeping and reporting, including activities and events conducted, breakdowns of participation figures, and any member conduct or other issues.
Ensure productive and effective performance of program staff and volunteers.
Partnership Development:
Develop partnerships with parents, community leaders and organizations.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
May be required to drive Club van periodically.
May be required to answer phones and perform other light administrative duties.
Work with staff on special events to carry out programs.
Exercise authority in problems relating to members and staff; utilize guidance and discipline plan.
Conduct weekly site meetings with staff to communicate important information.
Keep desk and facility clean and tidy.
Conduct fire and tornado drills monthly.
Communicate attendance numbers daily/weekly with direct supervisor.
Maintains the Member Tracking System (inputs attendance and program descriptions).
Assume other duties as assigned
RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal: Maintain close contact with Club staff and supervisor to receive/provide information, discuss issues, explain or interpret guidelines/instructions; instruct; and advise/counsel. Has regular contact with members as needed to discipline, advise and counsel.
External: Maintain contact with school, members’ parents or guardians in order to communicate about Club activities, explain or interpret guidelines, address any conduct issues relative to members.
May be required to communicate with or work closely with school principal and classroom instructors.

Job Type: Full-time, Salary-Exempt
Hours: Monday - Friday (occasional Saturday for events, with the ability to flex time during the week.
Salary: $35,600.00 - $40,000.00 per year

Serving ages 5K-18 years of age, the Club offers a wide variety of educational, recreational and social programs and gives youth the opportunities for personal growth and achievement. During the school year, the Club serves children and youth at 9 locations including: 5th Street, Lee Elementary, Theodore Roosevelt Elementary, Marlatt Elementary, Woodrow Wilson Elementary (a.m. only), Anthony & Eisenhower middle schools, and Central Elementary (Wamgeo). "The Club," a teen-specific progra...m, serves youth at Anthony & Eisenhower middle schools after school, and teens up to 18 years old on Friday nights until 10:00pm at the Fifth Street site. The Annual Membership fee is $30 ($20 for teens) and includes after-school We are always trying to connect with our Club Alumni.
