This position earns a competitive wage starting at $62,000/annually. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIRECTOR OF INFANT ADOPTIONAs a Director of Infant Adoption, you will lead the Adoption Services operations by: planning and coordinating of programs; setting and assuring program goals and objectives; developing, achieving, and overseeing all budgetary functions, program revenue targets, and resources; monitoring quality assurance standards, including ensuring appropriate clinical supervision and consultation. You will execute the full range of supervision for the Infant Adoption team. Develop and maintain positive relationships important to program maintenance.
You will also oversee the management of program data, monitor client documentation for alignment with adoption Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR), Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS), and other licensing and accrediting rules and requirements. Ensure the implementation of outreach and promotion activities to promote the flow of birth parents into the program. Provide after-hours supervisor on-call coverage. Coordinate and provide post-adoption services, which include working with members of the post-adoption triad. This role also includes some direct client work with birth parents as well as with adoptive families.
Qualifications For a Director Of Infant Adoption
  • Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field (i.e., Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, etc.) with minimum 4-6 years of related experience.
  • Advanced understanding of Attachment Theory, Trauma Informed Care, and evidence-based practices regarding interventions for children, youth, and families.
  • Must be willing and able to work occasional evenings and weekends, as assigned.
