DESCRIPTION :

Directs and controls the Rental Store sales and rental fleet activities. Assists and coordinates Company rental sales activities.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience preferred
• Strong computer, verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Travel to branches or other locations as required to perform assigned duties
• Maintain a valid motor vehicle operators' license

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Manage "walk-in" and telephone customer inquiries, rentals, sales, and problems promptly
• Manage incoming / outgoing shipments to ensure accurate and timely processing of documentation and procedures
• Assist and support Rental Sales Rep (RSR) and District Sales Reps (DSR) in preparing rental / sales related quotes and documentation
• Lead, direct and monitor assigned Rental Store personnel to achieve maximum customer satisfaction
• Manage any customer problems or complaints and inform Regional Rental Manager, Regional Sales Manager, and Branch Operations Manager of these
• Coordinate Rental Store product support activities to achieve proper and prompt repairs of new, rental, used, and customer units
• Maintain accurate information in Rental Store data systems on assigned inventory and transactions
• Process Rental Store over the counter billing transmittal / documentation and submit to Sales Support within two (2) working days of transaction date
• Maintain current inventory of show room products, brochures, and pricing for Rental Store products
• Perform all tasks in a professional, accurate, and timely manner, meeting designated completion deadlines with limited supervision
• Accommodate customer emergency needs during nonscheduled work day / hours
• Recommend to manager ideas to improve the departments operating procedures or business practices and participate in and support continuous improvement of all related activities and processes
• Project a positive image by interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner;

display a professional attitude; comply with company dress code

• Create and maintain good communications (verbally and in writing) and relationships with other Company departments, branches, employees, outside vendors, and customers by addressing and resolving concerns quickly
• Follow all work, safety rules, and procedures
• Perform other duties as necessary and assigned
