The part-time Sales Associate will contribute to the successful daily operation of the Rowan Scout Shop by delivering an exceptional customer experience, engaging and educating customers on products, transacting sales, receiving orders, stocking shelves, maintaining a clean customer-friendly environment.

Position is part-time, mostly weekdays.

• Provide excellent customer service in the store and on the phone. Process customer orders through the Point of Sale (POS) system
• Maintain a stocked, organized, and clean store
• Open and close the store as directed by management using the prescribed policies and procedures. Safeguard BSA monies and merchandise
• Occasionally assist with office/clerical support

• Knowledge of Scouting Programs (preferred)
• Sewing experience (preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
