District Executives are a diverse group, sharing a dynamic career offering independence, achievement, and stability. The District Executive is the manager of a designated territory (called a district) consisting of multiple counties or population centers within the Lincoln Heritage Council’s 64 counties. We are looking for someone to take ownership of growing the district in the key areas of finance, membership, and volunteer development – this is not a clock-in clock-out type of job. This position provides a flexible schedule, ability for remote work, and involves seasonal travel. If you want to make a difference and are energetic, thoughtful, highly personable in nature, have a positive attitude and values exceptional service, quality work, and personal relationships, this may be the career for you.
This is a first entry level position that will most likely require relocating to another location to be able to advance in the organization.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (transcript with the date degree conferred stated is required for employment).
Training:
Comprehensive professional training opportunities are provided during the first three years of tenure. Annual training and development opportunities continue throughout the career.
