Salary: $65,000 - $72,500

Boundless is looking for an energetic and adaptable Account Manager for a workgroup from a recent, newsworthy distributor acquisition. This position will support one of its top clients and requires working from the Cleveland, Ohio office a few days per week.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the day-to-day Account Management for this client program, the AM tasked with leveraging our diverse service offerings, from BrandEQ to e-commerce platforms, to ensure program success. This role requires extensive product knowledge, adeptness in industry trends, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, meet contract expectations, and contribute to sales strategy development—all while demonstrating adaptability and strong multitasking skills. The following are some of the detailed responsibilities: 

  • Providing support for clients by learning about and satisfying their needs, while simultaneously supporting the efforts of the entire Account Management Team to which they are assigned
  • Presenting and demonstrating the value of Boundless’ products and services to prospective buyers
  • Compiling and analyzing data to find trends
  • Developing sales strategies and setting quota
  • Staying current on company offerings and industry trends
  • Maintaining and growing a database of contact information by client
  • Building long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to create a better customer experience
  • Handling complaints and negotiations
  • Acting as a client advocate with a constant focus on developing a loyal client base

Requirements: 

  • Minimum of three years of experience working in the promotional products industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, communications or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The drive and energy to manage multiple accounts and projects while looking for new opportunities within existing client base
  • Ability to collect, track and analyze large amounts of data
  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally with both customers and third parties
  • Extensive product knowledge within the sales promotion/advertising specialty industry
  • Ability to understand client needs and handle the negotiation process
  • Excellent active listening skills
