What we are looking for:

The Product Manager (PM) will join Boundless Learning’s Product and Technology group - which has direct responsibility for the quality of the products we build and support, from inception to launch.

Specifically, the PM will work with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, data analysts and researchers and will foster strong, collaborative connections with business leaders. We are looking for an extremely entrepreneurial individual with a bias for action and completion and a desire to move quickly.

With your experience working in Agile & product-centric organizations, you will provide leadership to project teams to ensure the successful delivery of digital experience solutions, across multiple channels including web and mobile.

  • Displays strong leadership, organizational and execution skills
  • Drive the planning and execution of digital products throughout their lifecycle, collaborating across disciplines (business, technology) on the product roadmap development, requirements gathering, and release planning
  • Engages customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to determine business requirements, technical considerations, and strategic objectives
  • Is the primary driver for identifying significant opportunities, and driving product vision, strategies and roadmaps in the context of broader organizational strategies and goals
  • Incorporates data, research and market analysis to inform product strategies and roadmaps
  • Leads and motivates a team of engineers and other cross-functional representatives, and maintains team health

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Support the build, launch, and operationalization of products
  • Support continued development of Boundless Learning’s white label marketplaces
  • Engage with partners as part of the innovation pitch and launch team to define product features and address technical questions
  • Work cross functionally across relevant Boundless Learning teams
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure successful product implementations
  • Lead delivery of large-scale projects and managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Contribute to new product strategy 
  • Translate complex analysis to simple communications
  • You will establish product requirements, goals, indicators, and milestones and work in partnership with other teams to work on your roadmap
  • Envision, manage and communicate priorities, roadmap and product strategy to business and technology stakeholders
  • Identify and actively build connections with relevant subject matter experts across the company to surface insights, to get them excited about what your team is building, and to pave the way for smoother future rollouts
  • Gain a holistic understanding of customers’ needs and identify the most optimal user experience required to support that, with a keen eye for building a beautiful, scalable product
  • Ensure successful product launches with go-to-market activities and post-launch analysis to inform future product direction
  • Serve as a product owner on the scrum team(s) and work with engineers to deliver a quality product on time

Things That Should Be In Your Background:

  • You have 2 years of experience in product management
  • Degree in Product Management or equivalent
  • Agile product certifications (e.g. Certified Scrum Product Owner or Certified SAFe PO/PM) or equivalent experience 
  • Knowledge of technical engineering concepts (i.e., test-driven development, continuous delivery, etc.) 
  • You have a passion for delivering an outstanding digital product experience in managing the end-to-end product lifecycle to coordinate successful product launches 
  • You empathize with users and thrive when analyzing & understanding partner feedback and collaborating with UI/UX designers
  • You enjoy digging deep into the data, analyzing user feedback and using these insights to drive product improvements
  • You have demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming product requirements into an actionable product roadmap
  • You have a talent for building cross-functional connections with teams outside of your own
  • Experience working and delivering product or services in an agile/lean environment
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills and are great at explaining highly technical topics to technical and non-technical audiences
  • You have a can-do attitude, a bias for action and completion and an ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • You strike a healthy balance between speed of execution and maintaining a high-quality bar; you perform quality review of major product deliverables and have high standards and strong dedication to product success
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage stakeholder expectations appropriately, and proactively manage risks and issues 
  • Outcomes-motivated, ability to determine Indicators and explain how they can be met by the product plan.
