Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Driver Helper to help our delivery driver. As a Driver Helper, you will be responsible for assisting our delivery drivers in delivering products to our customers in a safe and timely manner. You will work collaboratively with our delivery team to ensure that products are delivered efficiently and to a high standard of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Assist delivery drivers in loading and unloading products onto and off of delivery trucks
- Navigate and direct delivery drivers to customer locations
- Inspect products for damage before and after delivery
- Provide exceptional customer service to customers during delivery and assembly
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery truck
- Complete delivery and assembly paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
- Perform other duties as assigned by the delivery driver or supervisor
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift heavy products (up to 100 lbs) with the help of a partner
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Prior experience in a delivery or related field preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred (but not required)
