Position Summary

Our Banquet Bartenders are a key part of our team, and critical to providing genuine hospitality. They are energetic, excited to grow in the hospitality industry, and care about their team. Banquet Bartenders are responsible for positive guest interactions, while serving guests quality drinks, in a friendly and safe manner. As part of the team bartenders are sometimes asked to assist with serving out and servicing tables. They play an integral role in ensuring our customers have exceptional dining and event experiences.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

Essential Functions:

·Adhere to laws and company policy pertaining to the service of alcohol.

·Communicate effectively with customers and help with their food and beverage selection.

·Professional and enthusiastic attitude.

·Execute orders.

·Ensure cleanliness of bar area, set up, and stock bar for start of shift.

·Gain proficiency in all specialty cocktails and be enthusiastic about our offerings.

Qualifications and Skills:

· At least 1 year of experience as a Banquet Bartender in an events-based venue

· Passion for a supportive team, high-quality food and beverage, and outstanding hospitality

· Ability to problem solve, make decisions, and stay organized in a busy environment.

· Ability to work effectively in a systematic and structured environment.

· Provide exceptional guest service.

· Ability to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

· Good judgment skills and adaptive attitude

· Quickly learn event menu and be enthusiastic about our offerings

· Must have all required food / alcohol certifications as designated by location.

Reports to: Catering Operations Manager

Department: FOH Operations

Hours of work: Ability to work a flexible schedule, weekend necessary.

Work Environment/Physical Demand:

·Ability to work a flexible schedule, nights and weekends are necessary.

·Must stand/walk for extended periods of time.

·Must be able to lift trays up to/approximately 30 pounds.

·Must be able to tolerate potential exposure to allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, and shellfish.

·Must have good hearing for accurate communication with Bottleneck Management employees and guests.
