We are currently seeking a Shop Foreman at our Dallas Service Center. The right individual will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our Dallas location including some nighttime Installation jobs.

The Shop Foreman will be accountable for the safe and organized operation of maintaining the warehouse, its assets and supporting the General Manager in all day-to-day duties. This role ensures all project timelines are met and customer expectations are exceeded. They are accountable, but not limited to the following:

• Inventory control, material handling and shipment receiving.
• Maintains the cleanliness and preventive maintenance schedule for the service center fleet.
• Identifies issues with tools and makes the GM aware of any issues that need to be addressed with tools or assets used to fulfill the needs of nigh crew installations.
• Works with the GM and vendors to ensure all consumables are on hand and prepared.
• Makes the GM aware of safety issues and follows protocol to ensure safety requirements are being met within the shop.
• Performs preventive maintenance on tools and shop assets.
• Does cycle count and maintain Smartsheet in house inventory counts.
• Build, clean and prep barricade panels.
• Load the company trucks with tools, panels and hardware as needed.
• Will be available for night work, including installations as needed.
• Maintains Shop cleanliness and follows the GM's direction in shop organization to produce an efficient and clean flow.
• Maintains strong relationships with mall management by engaging in proactive communication and providing exceptional customer service.
• May need to perform site surveys as requested.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Knowledge of common tools generally used in the building and construction craft
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and overtime when needed to complete projects as scheduled.
• Ability to read construction blueprints and store elevation drawings.
• Physical ability to climb ladders and carry up to 80 pounds while being safety conscious.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• High School diploma or GED

Preferred Skills:

• 3 -5 years of Retail Construction background
• Proven ability to lead a team.
• Proven ability to work with no on-site supervision
