Operations Lead

Key Role:

Lead the operations and maintenance of an industry leading Zero Trust deployment within the Department of Defense. Assume responsibility for interfacing with SASE, SD-WAN, application security, and cyber operations technologies. Work with SMEs, vendors, government leads, and Booz Allen colleagues to monitor and resolve network incidents. Apply advanced consulting skills to brief senior leadership to provide them awareness of current and resolved incidents. Work with us as we help our clients increase resiliency and readiness.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in a technical IT Operations role
• 3 years of experience supporting Operational Communities such as DJOC, COCOMS, or Network Operations Centers
• 3 years of experience designing service management and operational support models
• Experience in or with the Coast Guard
• Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) controls and policies
• Knowledge of Service Management and Operations Development
• Knowledge of DevOps methodologies
• Knowledge of network management and monitoring
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud networking
• Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
• CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or JNCP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
