Budget Analyst

The Opportunity:

That’s why we need you, an experienced financial analyst who can show a team how to navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding, to ensure the client's resources make the most impact.

As a financial analyst on our team, you’ll oversee the creation of a financial management strategy to help our client succeed. You’ll lead budget analysts to build an actionable plan for the digital transformation of our client's system and enable our client's to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals.

As a financial analysis expert, you’ll leverage your expertise in laws, regulations, and policies to help your client develop well-formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you’ll make sure the funding is used efficiently through your team’s consistent tracking and communication with project management, task leads, and the client. This is your chance to lead budget analysis and management of our client's digital transformation while acting as a financial analysis expert for both clients and your team. You Have:

  • 3 years of experience with program management or financial analysis for DoD or Federal Government programs
  • Experience with budgeting analysis on a Navy program
  • Experience with the Program Budget Information System (PBIS)
  • Experience with Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE)
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to perform POM briefings for government leadership
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 5 years of experience with planning, analyzing, and implementing IT programs
  • Experience with OPNAV as military, civilian, or contractor staff
  • Experience with the PBIS-IT systems
  • Knowledge of DoD HR Systems
  • Ability to prioritize your workload and manage your delivery to the team
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • PMP Certification

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
