Cafe Manager/Barista

Delivering solutions for customers around the globe takes a huge vision – but it's our eye for detail that drives us forward. Our new Cafe Manager/Barista will be responsible for helping manage the food and beverage programs at our new HQ and other locations as we grow.

This role will be based at our headquarters in Conshohocken, PA.

What you will do

As a Cafe Manager at Boomi, you'll be responsible for helping build out and run an exciting food and beverage program at our new HQ. This role will partner with our Director of Global Real Estate & Workplace Experience to help deliver an exceptional workplace experience. Together you'll offer a variety of items available to employees in our kitchen, pantries and most importantly, our new Barista Cafe. You'll also be responsible for helping support catering needs for executive lunches, quarterly business reviews, team on-sites and more.

Responsibilities include ordering supplies and maintaining inventory such as coffee, milk, snacks, pastries, consumables, etc., stocking the cafe, kitchen and pantries. To be successful in this role you should have work experience with various roles in coffee shops or cafes. Having an outgoing and friendly personality is a must!

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the cafe including opening and closing duties

• Assist in hiring, onboarding and training baristas

• Keep an accurate inventory and order as needed while staying within budget

• Run weekly reports of what products are moving and which ones aren't so we can adjust accordingly

• Add new menu items based on seasonality and employee feedback

• Ensure the cafe, kitchen and pantries are stocked, clean and tidy

• Nurture friendly relationships

• Help coordinate on-sites, one-off lunches for local team leaders and executives as needed

• Manage the relationships between our F&B, maintenance vendors

• Create and manage inventory and cleaning checklists

Requirements and skills

• Work experience as a barista or cafe manager

• Hands-on experience with professional coffee machines and equipment

• Experience with inventory management or willingness to learn

• Availability to work within opening hours (7am - 4pm)

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to prioritize and multitask

• Customer service attitude

• Experience with POS Systems a plus

Compensation :

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Base compensation begins at $60,000 and is determined by various factors including geographic location and the candidate's knowledge, skills, and experience. An overview of our benefits can be found here
