As an IT Specialist (Mid) at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics you will work to streamline services for managing data as an asset, perform Agile software development, and provide Cloud services across a DoD agency. Your work will shape opportunities for the management of data-as-knowledge used in real-time missions and will help drive more informed and timely decisions in matters of national security. The primary areas of performance include Data Management, Cybersecurity, Software Services, Infrastructure and Platform Services, and Cloud Services.

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience: 

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master 3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).
  • IA certification in accordance with DoD Instruction 8570.01M required.

Required Qualifications: ​

  • Experience performing a multi-discipline range of technical systems and applications activities.
  • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining multi-platform systems hardware, software and components.
  • Experience developing, designing, integrating and maintaining computer applications.
  • Experience preparing release planning for software and hardware across systems.
  • Experience ensuring systems conform with architectural objectives.
  • Experience evaluating complex system’s production readiness and supportability.
  • Experience performing the restoration of routine to complex computing service operations.
  • Experience integrating security solutions into information systems.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.

This position requires clearing a background check and an enhanced Personal Conflict of Interest (PCI) requirements as a condition for employment.

  • An understanding of the Agile Software Development Processes
  • Experience supporting complex technical operations
  • Experience providing technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
  • Ability to independently determine and develop approaches to solutions.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and non-standard hours when needed.
  • Ability to interact frequently with inter-organizational personnel and external customers.

Telework Availability: 100% Onsite but work a 9/80 Schedule.

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
