The Role

Bobbie is seeking a self starter with a passion for quality to join our quality team as a Quality Assurance Specialist. As the Quality Assurance Specialist for Bobbie, you will be responsible for ensuring that Bobbie products meet all applicable regulatory requirements and quality standards. You will help cement quality into the culture of Bobbie by leading different quality management systems and implementing quality practices into Bobbie’s ways of working. You will work cross functionally across the organization to implement quality objectives for the organization.

What you will do: 

• Help implement and maintain Bobbie’s QMS system.
• Assist development and management of Quality Programs such as Change Control, Supplier Management, Product Controls, Deviations/RC-CAPA, etc.
• Review product manufacturing and testing documentation and document compliance.
• Assist with consumer complaints and reporting requirements.
• Assist with auditing of facilities for regulatory food safety, and quality compliance.
• Manage Quality Performance of contract manufacturers and suppliers.
• Track, trend and evaluate product quality across key business metrics.
• Work cross functionally with Regulatory Affairs, Product Development, Supply Chain/Operations and Consumer Affairs and others as necessary.

What we would like you have: 

• Experience in either infant formula, dietary supplements, or food and beverage manufacturing QA role. 
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (food or dairy science, microbiology, chemistry, or related technical field required).
• Working knowledge of 21 CFR 106, 107, 111, and 117.
• Experience in performing food safety and quality audits, HACCP, completing and managing quality related documentation.
• Willingness to travel as needed, estimate 50%.
• Continuous improvement mindset and drive to continually look for ways to up-level quality.
• Able to work independently, handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively. 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, able to synthesize complex issues/scenarios into digestible concepts.
