We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Global Payroll Leader to join our Finance team in Salt Lake City, UT. This role is responsible for developing and leading governance over Boart Longyear's payroll systems and processes across each of the respective business units.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field
• Minimum of five years experience leading the payroll function for a large multi-national organization
• Problem solver with a strong analytical mindset
• Demonstrates sound decision-making principles
• Strong negotiation, collaboration and persuasion skills
• Excellent customer service experience
• Proven leadership of a globally disbursed team
• Deep understanding of payroll regulatory requirements in various jurisdictions, and ability to research and apply
• Global, mining or manufacturing background is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of Payroll and Human Resources Management system and process improvements
• Assess existing global payroll system and process landscape
• Collaborate with and support local payroll practitioners in each region and country
• Pro-active monitoring of payroll standards, regulations, and policies
• Perform audits of payroll data and processes to ensure compliance with policy, regulatory requirements, and accounting guidance
• Facilitate and deliver payroll reporting
