We’re seeking a team member for the role of Platforms Product Management Manager to join our Corporate Trust - Government Contract Administration team. This role is located in Washington, D.C., Lake Mary/Orlando, FL or Pittsburgh, PA, and will work a Hybrid schedule (3 days per week in-office required). Candidate must reside within a commutable distance to this work location, as we are unable to accommodate 100% virtual work arrangements.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Manages a medium to large-sized team of Product Owners, Contract Admins, and cross-functional team members supporting one large product or multiple products. Requires a comprehensive knowledge of the product and market. Strategic vision for the product or solution. Proficiency in Lean-Agile principles at scale. Competency in roadmap development and feature prioritization. Strong communication and leadership skills for cross-team coordination. Market and customer insight to guide product direction.
Leading initiatives to successfully manage moderately complex product life cycles, from development through marketing. Ensuring collaboration, communication, and escalation. Help to remove obstacles. Provides advanced guidance on product management processes and methods to ensure products are aligned with client needs. Reviews final products and strategies for major project initiatives, providing direction as needed. Recruits, motivates, and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth, and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Works closely with Product Owners to align team backlogs with program vision. Participates in PI planning and other program level ceremonies. Ability to influence, persuade and collaborate with stakeholders, including customers without authority. Manages one or more product management teams. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.

Administration of provisions of BNY Mellon's contracts with the US Federal Government that are considered non-standard, including (but not limited to):
Team also supports Corporate Trust and the Government Debt Solutions group through the coordination of the following matters:
With respect to potential new business, team participates in RFP process and reviews/negotiates contracts; establishes any new procedures needed to carry out non-standard contract requirements; onboards new vendors; team is responsible for RFI/RFP Process and pipeline tracking.
Specific additional roles of the Team Lead include:
Business Acceptance Committee and Corporate Trust Committee Chair; Performs New Business Approvals on Deal Manager, involved in review of CT policies where Government Contracts have a different process. Perform senior level activities of the team such as reviewing the work of the team, providing approvals, and subject matter expertise.
