BNY Mellon is Hiring a Director, Agile Practices Manager Near New York, NY

Provides guidance and technical leadership as a senior leader in Agile Practices and serve as role model for BNYM line of business (LOB) to adopt and improve Agile methods and practices. Manager of senior agile coaches/agile practice managers. Serves as the technical expert and consultant on Agile practices, methodology and strategy across businesses lines to develop and implement new process to solve complex problems with significant business impact, facilitates technical design. Influence change strategy and integration of functions and partners with multiple senior management teams to execute goals and implement processes. Could participates/speaks in client forums. Influences and negotiates with senior leaders (across functions) for several projects. Serves as the technical expert and consultant on Agile practices, methodology and strategy across businesses lines to develop and implement new process, providing in-depth and sophisticated analysis to arrive solutions with interpretative thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions. Facilitates technical design, test plans, documentation and implementation/conversion strategy. Defines change strategy and integration of functions and partners with multiple senior management teams to meet goals and implement processes. Solves the complex problems with significant business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards. Participates in client forums and speaks at events/panels. Could write white papers in area of expertise. Influences and negotiates with senior leaders (across functions). Impacts the business through contribution to technical direction and strategic decisions. Leads a large team of Agile Coaches. Contributes to the achievement of multiple team's objectives. Bachelor's degree in business or technical-related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred. 12 years of experience in providing consulting advice to senior IT and business management required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. Drive Change Enablement. Knowledge of Agile Methods. Ability to drive consensus and resolve conflicts across multiple parties. Project Management within Development Life Cycle (DLC). BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $122,000 and $190,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
