BNSF Railway is Hiring a 1st Shift Warehouse Lead Near Grand Prairie, TX
Empire Today is looking for a Warehouse Lead (Distribution Center) to coordinate all tasks being completed at the DC, organize and replenish loadout supplies, and serve as the primary liaison to the market and installation teams.

Responsibilities:
- Adheres to all posted Federal and State requirements, and all Company safety and operational policies and SOPs.Scrub transfer orders for discrepancies and quickly remedy issue.
- Receive and validate all transfer orders.
- Identify any short ship or other changes to transfers and effectively communicate to the Installation Warehouse (IW) team to resolve.
- Review the IW stocked items to ensure all are at targeted levels before the start of loadout.
- Walk the floor and check that all orders are staged.
- Meet with the IW team to complete the work found during the pre-load check and post-loadout huddle.
- Work with the Install team at the dock door to assist with loading.
- Process transfer orders from DC to collocated IW for any add-on materials.
- Manage the return process to ensure that all returns are going to the return holding area and are tagged with correct identification.
- Process all returns from the holding area to their appropriate disposition.
- Monitor load out to ensure sales orders are systemically loaded per company standard process.
- Perform cycle counts of stock within the IW and DC and take leadership role during Full Physical Inventories.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
- High School Diploma/GED required, Associate or bachelor’s degree in Operations Management preferred.Computer skills (D365, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task; strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently; and ability to set priorities, solve problems, and meet deadlines.
- Self-starter, action-oriented, problem-resolution-focused approach and personality.
- Ability to report to work on a regular basis and work a variety of shifts including weekends if necessary.
- Ability to operate a forklift, scissor lift, and other equipment as necessary.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position physically and mentally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- The ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- This position is working in the warehouse and the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
