Description: We're looking for a motivated Civil Engineer with expertise in transportation and public works to join our team. As a Civil Project Engineer, you'll lead the design and management of projects crucial to enhancing our community's infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop transportation and public works projects, including roads, highways, drainage systems, and sidewalks.
• Conduct complex geometric design calculations for alignments.
• Prepare detailed construction documents, plans, and specifications.
• Coordinate with utility providers to resolve conflicts during design and construction.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects meet community needs.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines.
• Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Obtain permits and approvals from government agencies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arizona.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in transportation project engineering or public works.
• Expertise in geometric design principles and software.
• Strong understanding of drainage, stormwater management, and utility infrastructure.
• Knowledge of construction methods and materials.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Effective communication with technical staff, stakeholders, and the public.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
