Prepares food trays and beverages
Uses all kitchen equipment appropriately
Prepares food serving areas for use and serves and delivers food
Sets up dining room tables with appropriate dishes and silverware
Prepares food serving areas, including steam table and salad bar
Serves residents in the dining area and delivers meals an beverages to healthcare residents
Monitors residents to verify that they are eating the foods specified on their diet cards
Follows HACCP standards for preparing, handling, serving and storing food
Ensures food is served and stored at correct temperatures
Uses food and supplies appropriately to maintain budget
Understand and follows food portion controls
Avoids wasting food or supplies
Cleans in assigned areas
Cleans and sanitizes food preparation areas
Assists dishwasher in washing and putting away dishes
Takes out trash
Sweeps, mops, or vacuums kitchen and dining room floors
Clears and wipes down tables in the dining room
Uses good sanitation practices as described in HACCP standards
Must be 16 years old
Must be able to spend most of the day walking, standing, stooping or bending and be able to lift 50 pounds
Past experience in food service is preferred
