Payroll Administrator

Blue Technologies is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our growing team in Cleveland! Blue Technologies is proud to be Ohio’s leading office technology provider since 1995. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for the use of a 3rd party payroll system, and they process and file all taxes.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer, file, manage, and maintain all payroll information for Blue Technologies Inc, and subsidiaries.
  • Process all regular and supplemental payrolls for Blue Technologies, Inc, and subsidiaries.
  • Review and provide support for online timesheets & PTO for Blue Technologies, and its subsidiaries.
  • Research and execute all wage garnishments, verification of employment requests, support orders, and unemployment requests.
  • Review benefit invoices monthly and compare these statements to employee deductions to ensure the employee is correctly paying for their premiums.
  • Maintain accurate records of all auto and cell phone reimbursements processed through payroll for Blue Technologies, Inc, and subsidiaries.
  • Calculate, record, and pay all commissions, lead fees, and bonuses for Blue Technologies Inc, and subsidiaries according to each individual comp plan. Send the completed spreadsheets to the Sales Manager, VP of Sales, and Accounting Manager on every scheduled payout, so they can verify and review accurate payment.
  • Calculate Commissions & Bonuses to be accrued for Blue Technologies Smart Solutions LLC monthly according to the sales entered on each month’s board report and send to the Accounting Manager.
  • Manage, maintain, and enter accurate journal entries for all payrolls for Blue Technologies Inc and subsidiaries.
  • Transmit all monies to the 401K plan for all employees in Blue Technologies Inc, and subsidiaries including employee deferrals, employer matches, and employee loan repayments every pay.
  • Transmit all monies to HSA accounts for all employees in Blue Technologies Inc, and subsidiaries, including employee and employer contributions.
  • Train and assist all managers on proper payroll administration and different uses of UKG.
  • Train and assist all employees on different uses of UKG.
  • Utilize UKG to build saved views and reports
  • Prepare payroll reports and census data as requested for surveys as it relates to payroll data.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or any related fields preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Payroll/HRIS Software Experience 1 years
  • Proficiency with computers
  • Strong planning and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze information and processes
  • Commitment to ethical behavior with a willingness to adhere to all company policies and current financial legislation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
