SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
- None
- Perform full range of procurement assignments and other duties as assigned for our county government customer
- Prepare and maintain purchasing files
- Create monthly reports
- Draft procurement waivers and only practical/sole source documents
- Contact internal and external customers for additional information or resolving discrepancies
- Enter contract and requisition into systems
- Enter invoices for payment into financial system
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience working in the relevant area of expertise
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Attention to detail.

- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public Administration, Economics, or a closely related field
- Must have the use of sensory skills in order to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public using the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear, handle or feel objects and controls. Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment, such as, but not limited to a, personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine. No significant climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America. Sponsorship will not be a part of this contract
- Must successfully complete a Blue Sky and customer background screening
