Your Role

The Salesforce Platform and Operations team is focused on optimizing Salesforce solutions and maximizing value across the enterprise. Salesforce is an enterprise platform targeted to help accelerate our transformation program, enable innovation, and help realize our vision for a reimagined healthcare system. Our team works cross-functionally to link our key business strategies and initiatives with our platform roadmap and day-to-day operations. We are responsible for driving critical business and vendor alignment, defining, and executing the enterprise product roadmap, and maintaining operational excellence.

The Configuration Analyst, Senior will report to the Salesforce Center of Excellence - Manager, Business Systems Analysis. In this role you will play a key role in the digital transformation of Blue Shield of California. This hands-on role will be accountable for collecting and rationalizing business requirements, creating future state designs, writing user stories and more across various business areas.

Your Work

In this role, you will:

• Conduct analysis of hard to complex business requirements and processes to recommend cross-functional efficiencies through configuration approaches
• Develop hard to complex configuration methodology to support solution selection and develop documented solutions and processes using appropriate documentation protocols
• Provide input in cross-functional work sessions to assess requirements and propose configuration options
• Continually evaluate and analyze complex systems applications and business processes; analyze system business impacts and risks; make recommendations for improvements and modifications to ensure optimum functioning of implemented systems
• Provide day-to-day configuration guidance to requirements gathering sessions, while gaining deep functional/business operations knowledge, application configuration, information management, and operational support
• Develop Salesforce configuration methodology to support solution selection and develops documented solutions and processes using appropriate documentation protocols
• Continually evaluate and analyze Salesforce applications and business processes cross-functionally; analyze system business impacts and risks; make recommendations for improvements and modifications to ensure optimum functioning of implemented systems
• Conduct testing to validate platform is functioning as expected
• Support the management of Salesforce roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups needed
• Evaluate and install new Salesforce releases

Your Knowledge and Experience

• Requires a bachelor's degree in health care management, computer science, or a related discipline or equivalent experience
• Requires at least 5 years of experience performing complex business analysis &/or technology healthcare operations
• Requires at least 3 years of experience in a configuration analyst role, configuring health plan business applications
• Salesforce experience required (Health Cloud preferred)
• Experience with complex Salesforce implementations and enterprise systems
• Required Salesforce administrator certification (Advanced Admin preferred)
• Highly skilled in interpersonal and verbal/written communications, flow and process diagramming presentations, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work in a strong collaborative environment

Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is: $ 77990.00 to $ 116930.00 for California.
