Job Title: Project Manager (Roofing)

Job Description:

Blue Roofing is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee our roofing projects from initiation to completion. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of roofing projects to ensure they are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets, in coordination with the sales team and clients. Ensure that project schedules are met and deadlines are achieved.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the duration of roofing projects. Keep clients informed about project progress, address any concerns or questions they may have, and ensure their satisfaction with the completed work.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the roofing project team, including subcontractors and crew members, to ensure that they work cohesively towards project goals. Provide guidance, support, and direction to team members as needed.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that roofing projects meet industry standards and exceed client expectations. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues or defects promptly.
  • Safety Compliance: Prioritize safety on all roofing projects by enforcing safety protocols and ensuring that all team members adhere to safety guidelines and regulations. Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to promote a culture of safety awareness.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenditures closely to ensure that projects are completed within budgetary constraints. Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies without compromising quality or safety.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and progress reports. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, milestones, and any deviations from the original plan.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of roofing project management operations. Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the project team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in project management, specifically in the roofing or construction industry.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and regulations is a plus.
  • OSHA certification or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
