Veterinary Assistant/Animal Care Attendant needed for large veterinary practice. Ability to walk and clean up after dogs and cats, administer medications, follow detailed instructions, interact with veterinary team to care for patients, and maintain cleanliness of hospital. Shifts start early at 7 am or end late at 6 pm. Must be able to work independently with the animals. Must be able to communicate observations with team members in person and record details on both written and computer forms. Will be expected to assist in other areas of the hospital such as front desk/scheduling/telephones, assisting with exam rooms, patient handling, and pharmacy needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
