BLUE Landscape Contracting Group is growing, and we are seeking a full time experienced Nursery/Property Manger to oversee the upkeep of the property and organize & manage our nursery. Nursery/Property manager responsibilities will include developing strong relationships with employees and collaborating with our management team assisting them where and when needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Identify plants as well as problems such as diseases, weeds, and insect pests.

· Tour work areas to observe work being done and to evaluate plant and soil conditions.

• Monitor facilities or operational systems.

· Assign work schedules and duties to nursery or greenhouse staff, and supervise their work.

• Supervise employees.
• Prepare staff schedules or work assignments.

· Ensure proper paperwork is completed and turned in daily

· Cut and prune trees, shrubs, flowers, and plants.

• Perform manual agricultural, aquacultural, or horticultural tasks.

· Getting plants ready for sale (digging, bagging and burlapping, etc.)

Sills and Requirements:

· Associate degree in horticulture/other related field or four years of landscaping experience; or equivalent combination of education or experience.

· Experience in managing personnel

· Valid driver license and clean driving record (required)

· Plant knowledge and ability to prepare attractive designs for clients

· FNGLA or other Industry Certification a PLUS

· Exposure to extreme weather and temperature

· Regular pushing, puling, stretching, reaching, kneeling stooping, and bending

· Lift and carry up to 50lbs

· Dependable

· People oriented, enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects.

· Knowledge of Spanish is a plus
