Pool Service Technician - Jacksonville, FL.
We are looking for a hardworking service technician with a strong work ethic and willingness to problem solve. Our ideal candidate would have a background in pool service and the ability to stay in constant communication on a daily basis with our office and our customers as the jobs progress. Punctuality will also be a key factor in this role. Our day to day operations rely on accurate scheduling and job completion. This job requires occasional half days on Saturday, especially during “peak” pool season in the warmer months.
Responsibilities –
- Initial start up of new residential swimming pools.
- Verifies all equipment is in good working order and identifying if any outstanding issues can be handled by the technician, or if the issue needs to be escalated to the manufacturer.
- Ensures water chemistry is tested and balanced properly.
- Stays in good communication with service and warranty scheduler and reports all findings and progress at each job. Reports are sent after each stop before moving on to the next job site.
- Stays in good communication with customers while on site, letting them know of any issues that will need to be addressed as well any pertinent information that needs to be passed along.
- Schedules a time to meet customer on site after verifying water is well balanced and there are no issues with the pool or pool equipment. Tech will give customers a “pool school” once that is all confirmed.
- Clean up of any excess debris that may have been left on the job site throughout the construction process.
- Repair work not excessive enough to be sent back to contractor or manufacturer.
- Meeting construction team onsite to help assist certain repairs.
- Diving a swimming pool for any minor underwater issues.
- When necessary, clean paver or travertine decking around pool area.
Requirements and Skills
- Very strong work ethic and willingness to work full days outside.
- At least two forms of ID, including a valid driver's license.
- Confidence in customer communication.
- Time management skills.
- Adequate swimming experience and comfortable working underwater.
- Attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn.
- Team player
- Experience in pool service/repair preferred but not required.

Schedule –
- Monday – Friday (7am-4pm)
- Overtime
- Occasion Saturday availability. Generally no longer than a half day.
