Duties

  • Provide designated patient care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
  • Assist patients with personal care and everyday chores such as washing, grooming, and eating.
  • Ensure accuracy in documentation and reports relating to the patient’s condition.
  • Notify nursing staff of any unusual findings or changes in physical, mental, or emotional states.
  • Assist with admissions, discharges or transfers whenever necessary.
  • Assist with unit(s) and patient room stocking, cleaning, and organizing.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
  • Provide quality services to patients, families, co-workers, and vendors in a manner that ensures satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 18 years old and above
  • Proof of COVID vaccination
  • Ability to undergo a background check
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Willingness to undergo training
  • Great communication and problem-solving skills
