We are hiring Nurse Assistants who will help us make a positive impact on the patients and families to whom we provide care. This opportunity is also available for individuals who want to become CNAs - We Train!

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and tidy atmosphere by following acceptable infection control methods.
• Provide direct nursing care to our residents under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Monitor and help residents with ambulation, transfers from wheelchair to bed or vice versa, or to a hospital, and their therapist-prescribed regular exercises.
• Check and record vital indicators such as temperature and blood pressure, as well as food intake/output and medicines.
• Document and report changes in the resident’s condition and behavior to the nurse in charge or supervisor.
• Give assistance with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and changing soiled or unsoiled linens.
• Ensure resident confidentiality at all times.
• Communicate effectively with residents, healthcare personnel, and family members

Qualifications

• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and the flu
• Honest, energetic, approachable, and compassionate
• Understands legal implications of patient care
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Willingness to undergo criminal background check
• Must be 18 years old or above
• BLS or CPR certification encouraged
