Bloom ABA Therapy PLLC is Hiring a Behavior Technician Near Schenectady, NY

Bloom ABA Therapy PLLC is privately owned and operated by a Licensed Behavior Analyst. We are dedicated to providing a naturalistic, play-based approach to support growth and learning in children. We are looking for people passionate about helping others bloom based on their individual characteristics and needs. We need part-time Behavior Technicians to join our team!

Client #1:

  • 9-15 hours/week needed
  • Available 4pm-7pm weeknights with some weekend availability

Client #2:

  • 6-8 hours/week needed
  • Available 4-7 pm weeknights and weekends open

Client #3:

  • 20-25 hours/week needed
  • Available 2:30-8pm weeknights; no weekends

Clients #4 & #5 (siblings):

  • 8-16 hours/week needed
  • Available 3-8pm weeknights; no Mondays & no weekends

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under the supervision of a Licensed Behavior Analyst.
  • Implement skills instruction & behavior reduction protocols designed by Licensed Behavior Analyst.
  • Motivate & support clients in developing social, communication, play, and daily living skills.
  • Maintain & ensure the safety of clients.
  • Utilize evidence-based behavioral strategies to promote positive behavior change.
  • Collect daily data and notes on goal progress and behavior.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with children and/or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is highly desired.
  • Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and implement strategies effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Physical ability to lift, sit on the floor, crawl, etc. to keep up with active children.
  • Provide Resume and References.

Benefits:

  • Hourly rate: $20-$30/hour based on experience and education.

  • Free RBT (Registered Behavior Technician)Training and Certification.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 25 per week
