• Position Title: SAP SD Lead
• Reports to: ERP Director
• Location - Merchandise Mart, 222 Merchandise Mart Plaza, Chicago, IL 
• Hybrid Role (3 days onsite - Tues, Weds, Thurs)

Job Purpose:

The SAP Sales & Distribution/Logistics Lead will play an integral role in leading the design, configuration, implementation and maintenance of the SAP SD module in the SAP S4 HANA platform in alignment with the organization’s strategy objectives. This position will serve as a subject matter expert by validating business requirements in areas of Order to Cash (Sales Contracting, Pricing, Sales Order Management, Customer Master, Logistics, Billing) and propose best practices for process standardization, efficiencies. Blommer is embarking on an SAP business transformation and the SAP SD lead will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery and adoption of SAP Order To Cash processes and leveraging best practices in S4 HANA. This role will also be required to successfully build credible partnerships with Sales Contracting, Pricing & Customer Service business stakeholders to achieve the intended value proposition of the SAP S4 HANA platform and realize the strategic transformation of the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive the design, development, testing and implementation of SAP SD solutions, considering best practices and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP Order To Cash solutions.
• Configure and customize SAP S/4HANA SD/LE modules to meet business requirements while ensuring best practices and system optimization for Sales contracting, Order Management, Pricing, Logistics processes.
• Document business requirements, functional specifications, technical designs, developing comprehensive test cases to ensure end-to-end process integrity.
• Provides functional support to production issues in SAP Order To Cash function including Sales Contracting, Order Management, Billing, Returns, Shipping, Output/Forms, Credit Memo, Debit Memo, Logistics processes.
• Conduct Functional testing, System Integration testing, Regression testing to make sure the system set up is as expected with no errors.
• Provide end-to-end support for SAP S/4HANA Order To Cash applications, including troubleshooting, resolving issues, and conducting regular system maintenance.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 10 Years of experience in SAP Sales & Distribution with strong business process knowledge in Order To Cash, Logistics processes in the manufacturing industry.
• 1-2 full life cycle implementation experience in S/4 HANA 1909 and 3 previous full implementation projects experience in SAP ECC including blueprint design, implementation, customization, configuration and post Go Live support of SAP SD modules.
• In-depth and hands on knowledge of SAP Pricing, Customer and Product Hierarchy, Master Data Management and S/4HANA OTC process.
• Experience with SAP SD configuration of Sales Documents: Sales Document Header, Sales Document Item, Sales Documents, Schedule Line, Contracts, and Scheduling Agreements
• Experience with Pricing: Condition table, Condition type, Access sequence, Pricing procedures.
• Experience with Sales Contract & Order Management: Creation of Sales documents - Inquiry, Quotation, Sales order (standard order, rush order, cash sales, service order, returns), Deliveries (outbound & inbound).
• Experience with SAP Billing, Invoicing including Credit memo, Debit memo.
• Configuration and implementation of SAP LE process, covering the complete range of functionalities like master data uploads preferred.
• Interfaces: Should have hands on design of interfaces from SAP to Non-SAP systems.
• IDOC: Should have good work experience in monitoring and troubleshooting IDOC errors.
• Strong exposure to EDI processes and messages (850, 855, 810, 830, etc.).
• Extensive experience with SAP SD integration with other processes/ modules, including Finance & Controlling (FI/CO), Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP).
• Expertise in data conversion from legacy systems to SAP, including Customer Master, Sales Contracts, Sales Orders
• Experience with SAP SD enterprise organizational structure and master data, S/4 HANA Business Partner master data setup and conversion.
• Experience with Rebates, Account Receivable processes, integration to SD billing.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5 preferred.
• S/4HANA SD certification will be added advantage
