• Position Title: SAP Data Governance Program Manager
• Reports to: ERP Director 
• Location: Merchandise Mart, 222 Merchandise Mart Plaza, Chicago, IL 
• Hybrid Role (3 days onsite - Tues, Weds, Thurs)

Job Summary:

The SAP Data Governance Manager will lead the implementation and execution of Blommer’s Master Data Governance strategy and will be accountable for the SAP S4 HANA Data Migration workstream to successfully implement SAP S4 HANA business transformation program at Blommer. This role is expected to align with several business functions (Order To Cash, Procure To Pay, Record to Report, Manufacturing) to gather data migration requirements for master and transactional data and ensure data migration deliverables are completed as per plan for the SAP S4 HANA Go Live implementation. A successful incumbent is expected to lead the execution of the strategy and tactics necessary to improve the data quality, standards for Business to Business (B2B) Master Data domains for Customer, Vendor, Material, Inventory, Finance, Manufacturing and establish a central data governance structure across the enterprise. The ideal candidate must be familiar with SAP S4 HANA and have a strong background in data migration and data analytics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interface with business workstreams, the S/4 Core Team, System Integrators (SI) and IT to capture & analyze business processes, workflows, policies, tables, objects, master data elements, to translate RTR, O2C, or P2P needs into the design of SAP S/4 Data Migration solution for master data and transactional data respectively.
• Lead and deliver the migration of the SAP S4 HANA master data (Customer, Vendor, Material, Inventory, Finance-GL, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Bank Master) and transactional data (Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Open AP, Open AR items) as per plan.
• Work with data stewards to document future state master data creation and maintenance for business processes in SAP S4 HANA.
• Facilitate the integration of data from multiple sources and systems.
• Enhance and develop data policies, definitions, business rules, standards, role definitions, future state SAP S4 HANA master data processes to help build the enterprise master data governance framework.
• Translate SAP S4 HANA data governance and stewardship policies and processes to business workstreams (Order To Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report) and clearly communicate the value and benefits it brings to SAP S4 HANA downstream processes.
• Participate in SAP S4 HANA workshops and sessions for data migration design and validation, serving as a SPOC during cutover, dress rehearsals and validations.
• Provide operational support seeking opportunities as a SME for data stewardship, process improvements and automation to SAP S4 HANA Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance master data domains.
• Build stakeholder consensus across business workstreams (Order To Cash, Procure To Pay, Manufacturing, Record to Report) and ensure everyone is on the same page, in agreement, and can understand the master data solution being proposed.
• Work with business workstreams (Order To Cash, Procure To Pay, Manufacturing, Record to Report) to explain data mappings, between legacy systems and SAP S4 HANA, data validations process.
• Lead, coach, and train team members, end users, business partners and stakeholders on master data quality processes, tools, metrics and master data lifecycle to enable accurate, efficient, data-based processes and decision.
• Participate in data architecture design in alignment with Blommer’s enterprise architecture strategy with SAP S4 HANA and legacy systems.
• Participate in design of system integrations to support legacy system master data requirements with SAP S4 HANA.
• Design and lead implementation of master data management team that will create and maintain master data in accordance with the master data framework.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field

Skills and Work Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in SAP ECC system experience with two end to end project SAP S4 HANA project implementation leading data migration.
• Minimum 10 years hands-on experience in Master Data Management in establishing enterprise-wide data governance framework, with a focus on improvement of data quality data standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools and data architecture.
• Minimum of 3 years using data quality tools like Informatica Data Quality, SAP MDG etc.
• Minimum 10 years working with SAP ECC business processes related to Finance and Accounting, Customer Service, Manufacturing Operations, Procurement, Distribution & Logistics or Sales & Marketing processes.
• Experience with SAP S/4 HANA, SAP MDG Cloud, LSMW, LTMC.
• Consumer packages goods or food and beverage experience.
• Expert level understanding of the core business processes & system transactions and how master data impacts business activity and performance upstream and downstream to help identify gaps or opportunities to improve our data quality.
• Knowledge of lean, six sigma, continuous improvement methodologies with an organizational change mindset.
• Thorough understanding of SAP Master Data, focusing on materials, customer, and Vendor.
• Experience with MGD and MDM in a manufacturing environment including preparation, cleansing activities, and data migration.
• Understanding of MDG and MDM best practices
• Experience with Winshuttle, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint
• Experience managing project with cross-functional teams and multiple parallel workstreams.
• Ability to think strategically while delivering tactical solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of organization, geographics and cultures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with strong excel ability
• Minimal travel required
