We’re building a significant, meaningful, and lasting business, and we are helping sellers worldwide do the same.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Restaurant Sales Manager to help Square create revenue against individual, team and Sales organizations quotas. Your entrepreneurship will be a valuable contribution to developing our strategy, growing the team, and establishing a culture of crisp execution. This will be a new role and team for Square, so you will have an opportunity to directly help build and influence this organization. You will:Evolve and refine the outbound sales strategy, process and tactics to improve organizational performanceSupport your account executives (AE's) by participating in client and prospect meetingsMentor and develop sales team which includes hiring and training new AE's on sales processUse sales metrics to manage the team and individual AEs, tracking the results and succinctly reporting to sales leadershipConduct weekly forecast and pipeline meetings with AEsCoach direct reports regarding strategies to increase revenue and customer successUse the customer voice to drive improvements in interactions and productEnvision new and innovative ideas and approaches and take them to fruitionQualificationsYou Have:3 years of sales management experience with team performance above 100% to goalManaged teams that have focused on generating outbound revenueThe ability to hire and train new AE'sPromote working with cross-functional teams and departments in an environment of growthExcellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and communication skillsExpertise in creating thoughtfulness around sales metrics and managing yourself and others to these metricsCreate an environment where people are encouraged to share information, constructively debate, and communicate freelyAdditional InformationBlock takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
