Position: Residential Senior Program Coordinator
Summary: Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities? Block Institute is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Program Coordinator to provide strategic guidance and leadership within our Adult Residential Services Department. As the Senior Program Coordinator, you will ensure that our residences operate efficiently, maintain regulatory compliance, and deliver high-quality care to our residents. You will oversee Program Coordinators, Residential Managers, and Assistant Managers, providing guidance and support to optimize their leadership skills and performance.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work under limited supervision of the Director of Residential Services, demonstrating strong planning and project management skills.
  • Coach Program Coordinators to enhance their leadership abilities and develop individualized development plans for Residence Managers and Assistant Managers.
  • Directly supervise Managers and Assistant Managers in day-to-day operations as needed.
  • Participate in recruitment, hiring, and talent development initiatives.
  • Lead Program Coordinators in adapting service models to meet evolving needs and challenges.
  • Monitor regulatory compliance and integrate new tools and initiatives into residential programs.
  • Enforce corporate compliance protocols and employee policies, ensuring adherence to incident management procedures.
  • Provide input in decision-making processes related to hiring, discipline, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Ensure implementation of quality programming and provide supervisory coverage in the absence of management.
  • Oversee residential monitoring systems and address issues related to staff schedules, finances, and medication.
  • Maintain accountability and operate within established budgets.
  • Attend staff meetings, case reviews, and required in-service training sessions.
  • Provide training to management staff as needed.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports and inquiries to supervisors.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic standards in all residences.
  • Provide on-call coverage and supervision as required by the Director.
  • Demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervise all Program Coordinators, Residential Managers, and Assistant Managers. Provide oversight to all residential staff except the Director.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Flexibility with work schedule and willingness to travel between sites.
