• Receive and sort soiled linen into appropriate containers. 
• Process sorted linen utilizing the washers, dryers, sheet spreaders, ironers, and feeder/folders ensuring finished product is inspected and meets quality standards. 
• Maintain assigned work area in a clean and safe condition. 
• Notify supervisor of malfunctioning equipment, supplies needed, damaged linens, to ensure laundry operation is running at maximum efficiency level. 

Requirements

• Education: No formal education needed.
• Experience: Prior laundry experience desirable.
• Skills and Abilities: 
• Ability to speak in language understood by guests and co-workers.
• Ability to operate industrial laundry equipment.

• Hours Required: 8 hours per shift; scheduled days and times may vary based on need.

ENVIRONMENT: Physical Job Requirements (for essential functions only)

• Lifting/Pushing/Pulling: Lifting up to 75 lbs of linen, of shift; Pushing up to 75 lbs of linen, 50% of shift; Pulling up to 75 lbs of linen, 20% of shift; Carrying up to 50 lbs of linen, 10% of shift.
• Bending/Kneeling: Bending – Frequent bending while loading/unloading washers/dryers, sorting linen and folding. Kneeling – none.
• Mobility: Continuous movement throughout department, 85% of shift.
• Continuous Standing 100% of shift
• No Climbing Required.
• No Driving Required.
• Work Environment Inside: 100% of shift (time period)
• Hearing is Minimal: One-on-one communication, accommodations may be provided.
