Description

This position is based at the Idaho Central Arena in the heart of downtown Boise, Idaho. Hosting 100 sporting and entertainment events a year, including 36 home games for our primary ECHL tenant team the Idaho Steelheads. Our arena’s events and the surrounding restaurants, nightlife, and shopping are sure to provide a true Idaho experience.

An Off Ice Official is responsible for keeping and tracking the score and statistics for the Idaho Steelheads ECHL game. The Off Ice Officials will answer to the Off Ice Official Crew Chief and work with ECHL referees during each home game.

• Chief Statistician
• Official Scorer
• Penalty Time-Keeper
• Game Time-Keeper
• Penalty Box Attendant (2 positions)
• Back-up
• Goal Judge (2 positions)
• Back up/goal judge/penalty time-keeper/game time-keeper
• Statistician

Requirements

• Must be able to take direction, prioritize assignments, and give tasks to employees.
• Must be able to work irregular hours; mainly evenings, weeknights, weekends and holidays.
• Proficient computer skills including knowledge of windows-based computers and the internet.
• Ability to work independently, but still as a part of the overall team atmosphere
• Ability to work under pressure in a live event environment.
