Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church is Hiring an Office Receptionist Near Charleston, SC

Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church is looking for a PART-TIME SECRETARY/RECEPTIONIST to work 25 hours a week. Duties include general receptionist tasks such as answering telephone calls and assisting walk-in persons, preparing weekly and annual mailings, preparing families and appropriate staff for funerals, updating church registers with sacramental information, screening and reporting for Safe Environment, drafting letters, handling other administrative duties, and assisting the pastor and other staff members in administrative duties. Must be very familiar with MS Word and Excel and have the ability to learn other programs as needed. Candidate should possess strong organizational and time management skills, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively and with empathy, and execute a high level of confidentiality.
