Summary
Coordinates the design, planning, construction, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities. Responsible for organizational Property Management, Facilities, Environment of Care, Safety, and Security of all company owned properties.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
Associate’s Degree in Engineering or related field preferred
Previous facilities and property management experience in a health care environment required
Previous experience with computerized building management systems preferred
Demonstrated leadership and self-starting skills required
Completion of a Lead Abatement Facility Management course preferred
Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) preferred
5 years’ experience in multi-property management required
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Reliable transportation required
Bilingual ability in English and Spanish, Portuguese or Creole speaking abilities preferred
Cultural sensitivity necessary to work with a diverse patient and staff population required
Ability to work independently and collaboratively required
Knowledge of computers required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, & Outlook required
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written required
