    Position: Technical Project Manager (Networking and Integrated Technology Solutions)
    Location: New York City
    Experience: 7 years
    Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm; hybrid option available. Must be present in the office for a minimum of 3 days per week.
    Our fast-growing Technology solutions company is expanding its Project Management Team to support various customers and the engineering teams growth. We offer a great potential for growth, training, and career path development.
    Job Summary: Responsible for all leadership and management aspects of specific contracts and programs as assigned by the Program Director. Manages all program activities and directs a staff of cross-functional personnel to produce the contract deliverables within the cost, technical, and schedule requirements of the contract in support of corporate business goals. This position typically works under general supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority.

    Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for thorough documentation of all project aspects, including changes, action items, issues, risks, and decisions. This includes updating project schedules and preparing various meeting materials such as agendas, minutes, and presentations.
    • Regularly compiling comprehensive weekly project status reports, along with additional reports as needed.
    • Frequent interaction with project stakeholders.
    • Managing the storage of all project documentation in the designated document repository.
    • Aiding in the enhancement and updating of established framework standards, which encompasses documentation standards/templates and project process frameworks.
    • Active involvement in PMO process improvement initiatives.
    • Creating project templates and plans utilizing specialized in-house tools.
    • Conducting weekly reviews of engineering time allocation to each project.
    • Coordinating both internal and external meetings pertinent to ongoing projects.
    • Proactively identifying and resolving potential project challenges.
    • Monitoring project expenses and implementing strategies for budget compliance.
    • Collaborating with the Finance department for monthly invoicing processes.
    • Overseeing the coordination of equipment staging and shipping from our NJ office.
    • Facilitating necessary vendor trainings and certifications.
    • Collaborating with the NOC Team for emergency dispatches as required.
    • Setting program priorities, schedules, and budgets, especially for engineering tasks, and participating in the development of overall program objectives, strategies, budgets, and schedules.
    • Prompt identification and reporting of any deficiencies or deviations from the planned course to higher management.
    • Leading program team activities as necessary and conducting regular evaluations and review meetings to identify and solve emerging issues.
    • Arranging and participating in customer meetings as needed.
    • Serving as the technical and operational liaison with customers, with support from functional organizations.
    • Preparing and delivering progress reports to senior management and customers.
    • Maintaining consistent communication with all program contributors to ensure commitment fulfillment.
    • Overseeing major purchase orders and subcontracts.
    • Assessing subcontractor performance to ensure adherence to cost, technical, schedule, and quality requirements.
    • Ensuring all contractual deliverables and services are properly provided to the customer within the agreed timeframe.
    • Confirming timely invoicing for all completed Contract Line Item Numbers.
    Minimum Job requirements;
    • A four-year college degree, or its equivalent, coupled with seven years of technical or program-related experience. An engineering degree is preferred.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of program management principles, along with a deep understanding of system/network engineering requirements and design.
    • Preference for PMP Certification.
    • Solid understanding of earned value management principles
    • Fluent in user/customer terminology.
    • Knowledgeable about the equipment and platforms currently used by our user/customer base
    • Exhibits patience and has the capability to handle a diverse range of departmental issues.
    • Possesses extensive computer skills.
    • Proficient in team building and fostering consensus.
    • A proactive, decisive, and action-oriented leader.
    • Eligibility to pass a government background check.
    • Ability to effectively collaborate with teams across multiple time zones.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain solid relationships.
    • Excellent organizational skills, adept at multitasking.
    • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
    • Proficient in managing documentation and using project management tools.
    • Keen attention to detail, even in high-pressure situations.
    • Effective time management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
