Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and security-minded individual to join our team as a Mobile Security Specialist. As a key member of our Technology Security Solutions company, you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas to ensure the safety and security of our clients' premises and responding to dispatched calls from our Security Command Center (SOC) to our client sites. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of communication technologies, including tablets, Video Management Software, phones, video intercoms, security cameras, and networking IT equipment.
Payrate: $22.00
Responsibilities:
Mobile Security:
Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect security risks. Perform any technology tests, reboots, or troubleshooting of any equipment, when necessary.
Communication Technology:
Utilize tablets, phones, and other communication devices to stay connected with the security team, visitors to customer sites, and the general public and report incidents promptly through our digital platform.
Surveillance Operations:
Monitor security cameras and video intercoms when needed to identify potential security threats and take appropriate actions.
Emergency Response:
Respond promptly to emergencies and security incidents, following established post-order protocols to ensure the safety of clients, client visitors, client tenants, and their assets.
Incident Reporting:
Accurately document and report all incidents through our online platform, suspicious activities, vandalism, and other security-related issues.
Client Interaction:
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients, visitors, and staff.
Access Control:
Enforce access control policies and procedures to safeguard restricted areas.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with other IT/security personnel on duty and law enforcement agencies as needed.
Requirements:
Security Experience:
Previous experience in security and information technology is required.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to use technology for effective communication.
Technological Proficiency:
Familiarity with tablets, phones, video intercoms, security camera systems and network/IT equipment.
Physical Fitness:
Ability to perform mobile patrols on foot or using company vehicles. Must be able to lift 40lbs, walk for extensive periods of time, climb an extensive number of stairs.
Problem-Solving:
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick and sound decisions in various situations.
Customer Service:
A customer-focused mindset with the ability to interact positively with clients and the public.
Availability:
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
