Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-3 years Line Cook experience in a restaurant
- Enthusiastic
- Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and dining room personnel
- Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
- Must be available to work all weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Breakfast cooking experience
- English speaking
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, plate and finish all food items according to Black Bear Diner procedures and standards
- Handle, store and rotate all products properly
- Stock food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period
- Portion food products appropriately
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work station
- Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed
- Complete side work for station and shift
- Close the kitchen correctly
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the manager-on-duty.
