Hours:

7:00am - 3:30pm CST, Monday - Friday.

Job Summary:

Responsible for loading and unloading trucks, checking in deliveries and moving materials within the plant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Unload trucks and check in deliveries; stock and locate materials, delivering them to various locations within the plant.

· Fastens plastic bands around stacks, bundles, or palletized articles prior to storage or shipment, using strapping tool and clamps.

· Properly package and identify materials so as to prevent damage and satisfy packaging standards.

· Prepare and load outbound shipments, assuring accuracy and the fulfillment of all stated shipping requirements.

· Follow work instructions, control plans as appropriate, notify supervisor of any changes.

· Participate and fulfill appropriate responsibilities as defined in the ISO/QS Management System manuals.

· Participate in changes and continuous improvements.

· Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills Required:

· Fork lift experience.

· Class C license required. Must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

· Read, write and speak English.

· Computer literacy required.

· Proficiency in basic math, APQP and /or other appropriate skills as defined in the QMS/EMS/LMS Management System manuals.

· Be a self-starter; detail oriented; communicate well with others; work unsupervised.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
