What you will be doing

Our client has anexciting new opening for a Systems Administrator to support a team thatprovides the infrastructure, data protocols, and applications required to movetime-critical data (frequently in near-real-time), encompassing transportstreams, messages, and files across a network infrastructure.

• Provide support for theimplementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT)systems.
• Manage IT systeminfrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
• Provide support to ITsystems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolutionfor all the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
• Provide Tier 1 (HelpDesk) and Tier II (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, andresolution of problems.
• Provide support for escalatingand communicating status to agency management and internal customers.
• Provide support forthe dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in theresolution process.
• Configure and manageUNIX and Windows operating systems and install/load operating system software, troubleshoot,maintain integrity, configures network components, and implement operatingsystems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

• Five or more years ofexperience as a Systems Administrator in programs and contracts of similarscope, type, and complexity is required.
• CWIP Certified IATLevel 1 (A , Network , Security ).
• Required SecurityClearance: TS/SCI w/ polygraph.
