Bitter & Twisted Cocktail Parlour in Phoenix, AZ is looking for hosts to join our 30 person strong team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and engaged.

We are looking for an upbeat savvy individual that can hustle and keep a smile on their face that wants to join our award-winning team starting on a part-time basis during the week and weekends to start.

A great work ethic is a non-negotiable point that is needed for this position and you must be used to being on your feet.

Good timekeeping and dependable transportation are a must. All applicants should have heart, integrity, a positive attitude and take great pride in their work. Our ideal candidate pays extreme attention to detail and works well in a close team environment.

Responsibilities

• Experience working in restaurants or other similar customer service environments
• You have excellent communication skills, can stand for long periods of time, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Provide great hospitality by going above and beyond for every guest. Know regular guests’ names, preferences, and anticipate their needs.
• Control the pace of the door and communicate with managers to control the flow of the restaurant.
• Know the menu and be able to make genuine recommendations
• Keep it clean. The host stand is a guests first impression.
• Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment
• Respond to on-the-fly requests with ease and poise
• Understand POS systems and digital/online reservation systems)
• Availability to work weekends and some holidays
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant

Qualifications

• Previous host / hospitality experience is a must.
• Friendly and outgoing personality, with great communication skills.
• Able to learn an I-Pad based wait list system.
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
• Strong organizational and motivational skills
