We are currently looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team

What you can expect in this role:

This is an exciting opportunity to be our first US-based HRBP and to be part of our growth journey! You will play a key role at Bitfarms ensuring the alignment of our business objectives to our culture, values and people strategy. As part of the global HR team, you will be actively involved in leading and implementing innovative HR projects relevant to the business. The HRBP will support our US-based operations teams, as well as one or more global functional teams who may be based in Canada, US, Argentina and Paraguay.

More specifically, here are some of the key responsibilities:

  • Provides guidance and support to assigned functional teams which is aligned with our culture and values on various HR topics, such as talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, employee relations, engagement, and retention.
  • Maintains a strong presence by leading frequent one-on-one and group sessions with managers to ensure consistent and proactive HR support. 
  • Supports the teams throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring a best-in-class employee experience; this includes managing all administrative tasks related to end-to-end hiring process, onboarding, and offboarding, as well as compiling other HR-related documentation when necessary.
  • Leads and participates in global and local projects for key HR initiatives supporting our goal to continuously improve the human resources function and provide best in class support to our business.
  • Identifies key opportunities to represent Bitfarms at relevant employment related events, such as career fairs, industry or community-focused event.
  • Develops and facilitates in person and remote training on a multitude of HR topics in collaboration with the Global HR team and established HR plan. 
  • Fosters a culture of high performance by coaching and advising managers on employee relations matters (including performance, conflicts, investigations, etc... ).
  • All other related tasks.

Here's the profile we're looking for:

  • University degree in HR or another related field
  • 3 years of experience in HR as a generalist, talent acquisition, or HR assistant, preferably in a global context.
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Experience with internal communications.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Experience working with, and implementing key HR systems such as ATS, HRIS, LMS systems such as Workday, SuccessFactors, BambooHR, Smart Recruiter, HiBob, Teamtailor (or any other).
  • Strong knowledge of applicable employment laws, HR theory and practices aligned with the company´s values: excellence, integrity, commitment, teamwork, respect.Excellent communicator: verbal and written, superior listening capacity.
  • Available to travel domestically and internationally in order to have a strong in person presence

A few more relevant details:

  • Travel required about 30% of the time according to business needs. This initially includes visiting our operating site in Moses Lake, Washington, and our corporate office just outside Montreal, in Brossard, Quebec, Canada
  • Work schedule: 40h/week Monday to Friday
  • Remote, but should expect to travel at least 1 week per month
  • Job type: full time
