Job Purpose
The purpose of the Donor Relations Manager is to support the organization’s overall fundraising efforts through planning and implementation of stewardship and donor relations programs. The Donor Relations Manager supports the development team’s efforts to broaden Bishop Museum’s individual donor base, along with supporting direct response activities to generate a growing revenue stream for the organization. Donor Relations supports the advancement team to ensure effective impact reporting and donor stewardship efforts (acknowledgements, meeting requests, printed materials, reports, events).
Donor Relations will be responsible for reporting to donors the impact of their gifts through fund reports, and other written donor information through comprehensive and integrated stewardship reporting. The position will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating these reports and programs while striving for continuous improvement and revenue growth. The position will have a fundraising goal for gifts from $1,0000 - $9,950 to include sustaining gifts. Donor Relations will play a significant role in carrying out these stewardship and fundraising efforts along with promoting the Museum’s mission through a number of venues to include and not limited to acknowledgments, events, reporting, and other stewardship activities. The position works closely with the Advancement team to support the overall stewardship and recognition plan of the Museum.
